the method

The spine is our upright backbone and gives the musculoskeletal system a stable basis. When the spine is misaligned, the sphenoid (sphenoid bone) and the sacrum are always displaced. Misalignments cause:

  • Headache and neck pain

  • Dizziness, migraine

  • Pelvic obliquity, pelvic rotation

  • Arm and leg length differences

  • Tension in the jaw and hips

  • Problems with joints, hands and feet

  • Tension

  • Back pain up to herniated discs

befree combines elements of Kundalini Yoga with the basics of Sphenology® according to Dr.rer.nat. Günter Gassmann. He looked for ways to permanently straighten the spine for himself and his wife. In the process, he recognised the importance of the sphenoid for permanent straightening.

In a sequence of gentle, swinging movements.  Gentle movements enable the spine to align centrally at the base (sacrum) and at the upper end (sphenoid) and subsequently to swing into natural erection along its entire length. The movements mobilise the spine and make the body more supple and flexible. The pelvis aligns itself in its central position, the shoulder height balances out, your posture becomes more upright and your appearance more radiant.

the cause

The sphenoid (sphenoid bone) in the skull is connected to the spine via the upper jaw. Impacts or one-sided stress can cause the sphenoid to shift. This can happen in childhood, but also in adulthood in the case of falls, accidents, carrying heavy objects or other one-sided loads. A displaced sphenoid also leads to a displacement of the sacrum and thus brings the spine into a tilted position.

Strong emotions such as fear or anger can also harden the body and restrict mobility. This can subsequently lead to misalignment of the vertebrae. Movement restrictions of the cervical spine favour the formation of a neck hump. Problems with the cervical spine are also associated with headaches, dizziness and migraines.

Misalignments can go unnoticed for a long time, but cause serious problems in the long term. Pelvic obliquity brings seemingly different leg lengths, combined with uneven loading of the hips. This can cause pain and joint problems over time.
Since misaligned vertebrae squeeze the nerve tracts that exit the spinal canal, the result is pain, limited mobility and impaired health. Severe misalignments of individual vertebrae can cause organic diseases, numbness and herniated discs.

the goal

The goal of befree is to independently bring the spine into its natural symmetry and to permanently solve painful back problems, joint problems and movement restrictions. The gentle swinging movements also release pent-up emotions and tension. By straightening the spine, bruised nerves and intervertebral discs can regenerate and illnesses caused by them can heal. befree is a holistic method for restoring and maintaining physical and mental health.

the session

In the individual session you will learn about the connections between the sphenoid, sacrum and the entire spine. With short measurements we determine the actual state of your body and you learn the correct execution of the eleven befree movements, so that you can then independently swing your spine into natural alignment at any time.

The session lasts about 1 1/2 hours and costs 120€.  For your own befree practice you need 20 minutes.

In the Linz area I am happy to visit you at home, otherwise we work online via zoom.
